SONZAI NO SHOMEI

After releasing the mini-album Kimi o Koeru Hi, Kadomatsu suspended his activities for five years over a private matter. Following production work and the band AGHARTA, this became his third album after returning. Riding a funky groove and carrying his urban soul in full, Kadomatsu played alongside master drummers including Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta and Ralph Humphrey. The album ranges widely from punchy, fast-moving tunes to ballads in his own unmistakable style. The Latin-funk number 5 is a killer.
