Following the breakup of Coconut Bank and Sugar Babe, only Eiichi Ohtaki remained. In other words, the album brought together the three of them as full-color images replacing the fine pale watercolor of that earlier record. Each produced his own project and brought it here. The light steppin' shuffle A2 was an unreleased Sugar Babe track. True to the title, A5 by Coconut Bank has the soft Latin feel of an instrumental that might have brought together Santa and Todd Rundgren. Minako Yoshida's participation on an a cappella track and Ryuichi Sakamoto's strong support are also audible.
