After establishing herself as a singer with FLAPPER, she teamed with Yamashita as a songwriter and producer. The first record by this formidable new pairing finds Yamashita handling the orchestration as well, and their work together is striking. A3's pop tune borrows the grace of the blue-eyed soul at which Yamashita excels; the high-spirited funk of B1 carries a feeling that belongs entirely to her world. A5's sense of scale, embodying a cosmic quality, is especially good.
