The review
A2, a medium funk number bearing Tatsuro's stamp all over it, was reborn when recorded as a Northern soul song. Tatsuro performed it onstage himself, and it made her sing with heat. The intimate B4 is a rare mellow bossa for her. A5 and B2 carry the emotions of the good old days. After their marriage, Mariya was wholly absorbed in her role as wife and housewife. This was her comeback album, confirming her songwriters' identity with Tatsuro and filling it with the pride of an artist born of the great singer-songwriter age.
