Created for a Shiseido campaign, “My Pure Lady” made Amii Ozaki's melodic gift instantly recognizable. Acoustic bossa touches and a light, springlike pulse carry a song that sounds graceful rather than merely polished.
The melody turns with the uncertainty of a new romance, while the arrangement by Masataka Matsutoya keeps every detail airy. It is commercial pop made with the concentration of a miniature: brief, vivid and complete.
