SUPER MOON

Makoto Iwabuchi's debut pursues the country, Latin and ragtime flavors he called good-time music. His work with the Moonriders circle is part of the setting, but the lightness of his voice gives this album a personality of its own.

A6 is a dreamy melody with a gentle rhythm and an especially pleasant late-night feel. Iwabuchi is also known as a gospel singer, and this record shows an earlier, lighter side of that wide musical range.
